Valerie Ann Leff
Valerie Ann Leff was born in Los Angeles, grew up in Manhattan and now lives in Edwards, Colorado. Her stories and essays have been published in numerous literary magazines such as The Antioch Review, Carolina Quarterly, Chelsea, Lilith, The Seattle Review, Southwest Review, and The Sun.
Her first novel, Better Homes and Husbands, was published by St. Martin's Press in 2004 to favorable reviews by the Los Angeles Times, NPR, The Village Voice, The New York Post, The South Florida Sun-Sentinel and many other media outlets. It was released in paperback in 2005 and optioned by NBC-Universal in 2006.
