Alison Preston

Alison Preston is a writer of things dark and sad. She has a BFA in Writing, Literature, & Publishing from Emerson College, and an MA in Secondary English Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has stories in (the wrongly-defunct) Manslaughter Review, and in Mystery Tribune. Last year, she had to scrap one novel and start a new one, so now she's working on the new one. After several years living and teaching in Colorado, she recently moved to Washington, D.C., where she continues to teach virtually for the Young Writers Program. She loves talking writing and books, but she's pretty shy, so you might have to start the conversation.
