These workshops are intended for experienced writers who have studied and/or published extensively, and who are working to complete a book-length manuscript. To date we have seen no fewer than ten published books come out of these workshops, sold to publishers as wide-ranging as Fulcrum, HarperCollins, Ballantine, Ghost Road Press, and elsewhere.
Enrollment in these workshops is by invitation only or by applying to the course you would like to attend. (To apply for any of the master workshops, contact Andrea Dupree via andrea(at)lighthousewriters.org.) Many of these workshops have extensive wait lists, so we recommend taking 8-week workshops until space opens up or applications are accepted.
Master classes meet for six months, once per month (dates set by participants and instructor) and focus on longer sections of work. Because of the higher tuitions for these courses, flexible payment plans are available.
