Calendars

So here at Lighthouse we have become calendar obsessed. We have the Google calendar, we have the Outlook calendar, and they are synced. We have calendars on the wall, we have datebook, we have handouts on lime and salmon colored paper.

Still, we are (okay, I am) sometimes lost, confused, late. We stand people up, we rush off at the last minute. (Note to self: write today, 9/13/10, dammit. Oh, and don't forget the girls have piano lessons tomorrow 9/14, 5:00 PM.)

So while I may be weighed down by the concrete shoes dates and little blinking to-do flags and requirements and deadlines and pastel-hued headers, I am still very excited by the fact that our good friend--and new Lighthouse poetry instructor, author of a beautiful chapbook entitled No Blues This Raucous Song--Lynn Wagner, is totally in charge and is keeping on top of all things poetic and literary here in this dusty old cowtown.

Don't believe me? Check it out for yourself: http://poetz.com/colorado.

Thanks, Lynn, for keeping us all in line. Pun intended.
