Elisa Gabbert is the author of several poetry collections, including The French Exit (Birds LLC, 2010); Thanks for Sending the Engine, a chapbook (Kitchen Press, 2007); and, with Kathleen Rooney, That Tiny Insane Voluptuousness, a collaborative collection (Otoliths, 2008). Her poems and essays have appeared recently in Another Chicago Magazine, Denver Quarterly, Open Letters Monthly, Notre Dame Review, Sentence, and other journals, as well as the anthology The Monkey and the Wrench: Essays into Contemporary Poetics. Elisa was voted Boston's Best Poet by readers of The Weekly Dig in 2011. She lives in Denver with the writer John Cotter.
