Jasmine Griffin is a Cincinnati native pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at Wilkes University. An avid reader and queer writer, she’s a former member of The Mercantile Library of Cincinnati's staff, where she campaigned for diverse programming and taught writing workshops. She also previously served as the Features Editor for Carve Magazine. Presently, Jasmine is at work on her first novel, “Blackbird at the Crossroads,” which incorporates African mythology, African American folktales, and Southern Crossroads lore. Her writing has appeared in Eunoia Review, Genre: Urban Arts, and Cleaning up Glitter.
