Anthony D'Aries

Anthony D'Aries is the author of The Language of Men: A Memoir (Hudson Whitman Press, 2012), which received the PEN Discovery Prize and Indiefab’s Book of the Year award. His fiction and nonfiction has appeared in Boston Magazine, The Literary Review, Sport Literate, Flash Fiction Magazine, Shelf Awareness, and elsewhere. In 2014, the Writer's Room of Boston awarded him a nonfiction fellowship. He has taught creative writing, literature, and literacy in correctional facilities, hospitals, and homeless shelters, and currently directs the low-residency MFA in Creative and Professional Writing at Western Connecticut State University.
