Contact Info:

Sara Fardi is a writer, educator, scientist, and Boulder native. Trained in inclusive practices, Sara’s focus in the classroom is to foster an environment where the imagination and voices of students are prioritized, celebrated, and encouraged to grow.

A speculative and genre writer, trained as a biological researcher and anthropologist, Sara uses her broad educational base to dig into mythology and culture, and present narratives with heart and honesty in the face of today’s complex challenges. She has been published in Bards and Sages Quarterly, earned an honorable mention in the Writers of the Future Contest and a place in the New Orleans Writer’s Residency, and is current Book Project student tackling a novel. In addition, Sara holds undergraduate degrees in neuroscience and anthropology, and a master’s degree in biological anthropology.

You can usually find her reading, drawing maps of whatever fantasy land she’s fallen into this week, or buried under a mountain of spreadsheets and scientific articles.
