8-Week: Lighthouse North—Intermediate Fiction and Memoir

$325.00 Members
$355.00 Non-members

This workshop is designed for writers who are somewhere in the drafting process and seek guidance, structure, and inspiration to keep writing. Discussions will center on how to identify and articulate the central dramatic question, craft the scene, and build tension. Members will study point-of-view and character development, as well as practice the fundamentals of pacing through the balanced use of showing and telling to maintain dramatic conflict. Participants will share up to 30 pages of their manuscript with the instructor and the group for constructive critique.

Please Note:

This class will skip April 15th and run until May 13th.

Lighthouse North Directions and Parking

Lighthouse North is our new satellite location in Boulder County. Please follow the directions below to find us, as putting the address in your GPS will take you to the wrong place.

From Highway 36, take the McCaslin North exit. At the fourth light, turn west onto Century Drive (there's a Walgreens on the NW corner). Take your first left (daycare on that corner). When the road Y's stay right, and when you get to the stop sign, it's the two story brick building on your right with a sign outside that says Office Evolution. Inside the building, follow the Lighthouse North signs to your conference room.

Parking is free and located around the building.
