Acting for Writers (Virtual)

In this class, we’ll step into the actor’s shoes and see what the actor’s process is to break down a script, asking questions from the actor’s point of view. Where am I? What is the weather? What is my relationship to the other characters in this scene? What do I want? What is my obstacle? How will I get it? We’ll gain a new perspective on our writing that goes beyond just writing a script to tell a story, but will help us begin to think about writing from a perspective for that story to come to life in performance.
