Advanced Weeklong Fiction Workshop: Writing What You're Writing with Sheila Heti

$925.00 Members
$985.00 Non-members

In this weeklong workshop, fiction writers will focus on generating new material for whatever project they are currently working on. The goal will be to deepen one’s relationship to one’s own work. We’ll do exercises, talk about process and how to refine it, and address the various obstacles each writer is grappling with. Ultimately the aim will be to make writing a more integrated and natural part of the participant’s life. The emphasis of the week will be on process and creation, rather than fine-tuning a finished product, but there will be time reserved for sharing and feedback. Accepted participants will leave the workshop with more material to refine later, and new ideas about how to do so. Each writer will have the opportunity to schedule a meeting with Sheila Heti during the week of class.

Applications for Lit Fest advanced workshops close on March 14 and can be found here. Learn more about Lit Fest Advanced Workshops here. Accepted writers will be given the password to register for the workshop in late March.
