Daily Zoom: Kid Characters

$25.00 Members
$35.00 Non-members

In this class, we'll look at examples of how children and adolescents are rendered in literary fiction (that is, written with an adult audience in mind). What techniques do writers use to show that a character is young? How do writers depict kids "accurately," and what does that mean? Alongside our observations, we'll practice writing kid characters through generative exercises. Writers will leave with strategies for bringing childhood to life in their fiction.
