This Incubator Camp is a combination of fiction craft instruction, writing time, and instructor feedback. Writers are welcome to bring a novel-in-progress, a collection of short stories, or a novella. Camp participants can also start something from scratch; this has worked well for many previous attendees. Sessions will include time for everyone to share challenges, such as plot problems or character development issues, and receive help from the instructor and fellow writers. The Long-Form Fiction Incubator is highly tailored to the needs of each writer with a goal of building skills around developing characters, exploring plot, and figuring out how to get the story you want to tell onto the page. All genres of fiction welcome!
