Are you a music lover? Poetry also makes use of rhythm! Together, we’ll read musical poems to understand how poets achieve this quality in their works. Then, we’ll play with sound ourselves. Once we’ve gotten into the groove, we’ll use our newfound knowledge of musicality to write our own musical poetry. We’ll share our poetry with one another, practicing reading our work in a way that captures its sonic qualities.
