The Writing with Cancer Workshop is a collaboration between Lighthouse and the University of Colorado Cancer Center. This workshop is geared for those diagnosed with cancer and for caregivers. It runs every second and fourth Wednesday, 3:00 to 4:30 PM, at Lighthouse, 1515 Race Street, Room 103. Please register here to attend.

In this hands-on, supportive workshop, we will:
• focus our attention on generating new creative writing
• discuss basics of craft, elements of story and language
• discuss the value of a writing practice

Participants will be:
• encouraged to write often and freely on any subject they choose
• encouraged to rely on the belief that creative expression is a powerful way help one deal with the ups and downs of a cancer diagnosis
• encouraged to connect with others in the group

This class is open to all levels of writers.
