In collaboration with Denver Film, join us for a screening and discussion of Get Out moderated by Lighthouse faculty member, Lisa Kennedy. Together we'll explore the major themes of Get Out and discuss the film’s impact on the literary horror genre with a focus on the short story collection The Wishing Pool. This event is open to all those who identify as BIPOC as well as those who are allies of BIPOC communities. Writing in Color will also be hosting a happy hour before the screening for those who identify as BIPOC. Register for the happy hour here.
