Work at Lighthouse

Lighthouse Writers Workshop is the largest nonprofit literary center in Colorado and the Mountain West, offering more than 200 creative writing classes a year for youth and adults in community settings and online. In addition to workshops, Lighthouse supports the literary community through fellowships, writerships, writing studios, regular readings, youth outreach, the Book Project, The Writer's Studio visiting author series, Lit Fest, and a wealth of other resources and events on craft and the writer's life. 

A Mayor's Award for Excellence in the Arts Award winner, Lighthouse Writers Workshop is renowned for the excellence of its programming and its service to the arts community in Denver. Lighthouse staff members enjoy an eclectic work environment, a flexible work schedule, health and vacation benefits, and the company of supportive and artistic colleagues.

Though we are not currently seeking new instructors, we welcome you to fill out this web form. We also recommend attending events, introducing yourself to our staff, and generally familiarizing yourself with Lighthouse's programs, so we know who you are when a position becomes available.
