Exploring the Surreal in Prose Poetry

In this course, we'll begin by taking a look at what constitutes surreal prose poetry in terms of style and form. Through close readings and discussion of established masters in the form, we'll gain firsthand insight into surreal prose poetry. Further, through use of the instructor's creative prompts we'll write drafts of surreal prose poems in workshop.
