Good news and bad news

So let's start with the good news.  Our Lit Fest kickoff was a rousing success -- 75-plus made it out to toast in the beginning of Lit Fest. The Alltunators braved the elements to bring us their original combo of soul and folk and whimsy and depth, first outside, then inside. People ate. People drank. Some even nibbled on desserts.

Here's some visual evidence:

We got a little stuffy inside, but it was better than being hailed on.

You can see I'm delaying the bad news.

Well, here it is.  We don't have a picture, this year, of Domes by the Keg, because several of our domed regulars weren't able to make it this year (Joel, Jake, Levi -- I could go on).

It's okay, we'll be okay.  Mike Henry and Bill Henderson were there, but never together, and never by the keg.  Without the necessary quorum of domes, I think the gravitational force of the keg relents, and hence, no Domes by Keg picture this year.  We'll get through this.

Hope to see everyone at the faculty reading on 6/10, 8 PM at 1515 Restaurant (conveniently located on 1515 Market St.) Of course, it's free and open to the public, everyone!  I'll expect to see you there, and will diligently photograph the Irwin/York/Henry confluence if it happens. Tho I don't think Irwin has a dome, come to think of it.
